Anyone who might be thinking of taking the westbound Cardinal, #51 from the east coast to Chicago leaving Sunday, July 15th and arriving Monday, July 16th (one day earlier arrival than necessary in CHI), the sleepers appear to be sold out, at least at the present time. Coach still available.

If you were considering staying one day later until Tuesday evening July 24th in Chicago and then taking the eastbound Cardinal #50, sleepers are now sold out for that trip. Coach still available. Sleepers still available on the Capitol Limited and Lake Shore Limited both Monday and Tuesday evenings out of Chicago.

First edition of the trains chart for CRF was e-mailed to the participants on the list tonight. It shows where we are all positioned on the trains (primarily in sleepers) so you know who your neighbors are going to be. Besides the Southwest Chief round trip between Chicago and Albuquerque, I also included all long distance trains you have indicated you are taking to or from the Fest. Undoubtedly there will be updates as we get more on board. Besides Train 3(17) and Train 4(20) which are our official Fest runs CHI-ABQ and ABQ-CHI, we also have Trains 49/449(16), 29(16), 51(20), 48/448(23), 30(23), 30(24), and 50(24). I did make mention (via notation beneath the charts) of anyone who is riding in coach class on the above trains, just so we know they are there too and not to be forgotten. However if you are connecting to or from a non-Long Distance train (such as Regionals or the Pennsylvanian), those are not included.
