Winter Storm Service Information for Monday, March 4, 2019

A Winter Storm Warning is in effect for our region Sunday, March 3 at 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 a.m., Monday, March 4, 2019.

REGIONAL RAIL SEVERE STORM SCHEDULE (SATURDAY SCHEDULE) IN EFFECT MONDAY, MARCH 4, 2019:

  • Regional Rail will operate on a SATURDAY SCHEDULE

  • Enhanced Wilmington/Newark Line schedule with service to Newark and Churchmans Crossing Stations in the State of Delaware (view the complete schedule here)

  • Cynwyd Line service will not operate

This winter weather schedule is designed to provide service throughout the Regional Rail system while making adjustments to take into account potential weather-related issues. Also, with lower ridership expected due to the storm, the schedule should provide sufficient service levels for Regional Rail customers on Monday.

Service disruptions are possible throughout the storm and afterward, particularly on Regional Rail and on bus routes that operate on roadways that typically become difficult to traverse during extreme winter weather. Customers are urged to consider options on the Market-Frankford and Broad Street Lines, which typically are not significantly impacted by these storms and provide frequent service throughout the day.

Please check TransitView for routing and real-time service or TrainView for Regional Rail service information. Customers can also follow @SEPTA on Twitter or sign up for ReadyPhiladelphia text notifications.

Customers are encouraged to review the information below, which includes general storm information, safety tips, and helpful links to other areas of the website.
