Service Bulletin - Winter Weather Advisory, Dec. 21

Along CSX's territory from North Carolina and West Virginia up to New England, the winter weather experienced over the last several days has caused heavy snow and cold temperatures that are affecting our rail service and operating conditions in our yards. Through some of the hardest hit areas, West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland and Pennsylvania, CSX was forced to reduce operations during the past weekend.

While the worst of the weather is behind us in these areas, it will take a few days to return to normal operations. Eastern corridor traffic along I-95 has returned to normal operations, and work continues to restore service in the Appalachian areas of Virginia, West Virginia and Kentucky.
