Service Alert

Posted on:12/20/2009 9:17:31 AM

Due to snow removal efforts, please expect delays on all New York City bus and subway service at this time.

In addition, due to a change in the Cold Weather Plan for the weekend of December 18 to December 21, 2009, Dyre Avenue Shuttle trains will not be extended to the 149th Street-Grand Concourse Station. Dyre Avenue Shuttle train service will run its regular route between the Dyre Avenue Station and the East 180th Street Station.

Also, due to pending inclement weather, all track work has been suspended for the weekend of December 18, 2009 to December 21, 2009.

Also, the Nostalgia Shoppers' Special Train service has been cancelled for Sunday, December 20, 2009.

And, due to holiday activities at Rockefeller Center, buses will not stop at 5th Avenue and 6th Avenue between 48th Street and 50th Street. Customers should board buses at 52nd and 53rd Streets on 5th Avenue; on 6th Avenue use 51st Street stop; and on 48th Street and 50th Street board buses on 7th Avenue. For more details, click on Service Advisories, then go to Holiday Bus Service Changes.
