SERVICE ADVISORY

VIRGINIA RAILWAY EXPRESS (VRE)

 

 

Weather Advisory

 

VRE is monitoring the expected weather conditions for tonight through Friday. Our Facilities crews will be at stations throughout the night clearing snow and treating the surfaces to be prepared for morning service. Our current plan for Thursday is to operate the scheduled S+ service. (Only trains marked with an S on our schedule will operate, plus Fredericksburg Line trains 300 and 307). Please stay tuned to Train Talk and www.vre.org for any updates. If conditions change and we need to alter our service, we will send a notice out by 4 am. As always, please use caution while driving to stations and through parking lots, and while walking to the platform. If you notice any slick spots or areas which may need attention, please let your conductor know or drop us a note at gotrains@vre.org .

Weather Update

 

Today we are running our S Schedule Plus (which includes trains 300 and 307).

 

VRE will continue to monitor weather conditions today.

 

Facilities crews are standing-by to maintain stations.

 

Please exercise caution while driving to and from the stations, and while walking through the parking lots and on the platforms. If you encounter any locations that need attention, please let a conductor know or email us at gotrains@vre.org and we will notify the Facilities crews.

 

As a reminder, face coverings are required at all times at the stations and while on board trains.
