BBC, 4/30/16:

Cambodia restarts passenger trains after 14 years


Cambodia has restarted passenger train services on one route after a gap of some 14 years.

The first service set out on Saturday from the the capital Phnom Penh for the tourist areas of the south-west coast.

The service, which will run only on weekends, had a VIP on board - the veteran Prime Minister, Hun Sen.

Phnom Penh airport rail link opens

 

CAMBODIA’s minister of public works and transport, Mr Sun Chanthol, officially opened a new rail link to Phnom Penh International Airport on April 10.
