Post here any reports from our group travels (starting from New York or Philadelphia) on Amtrak Train #43(15), the westbound Pennsylvanian.

So far the 7 of us aboard are headed westbound towards Pittsburgh.  Left New York, Philly, and Harrisburg on time although we were a few minutes late at some intermediate Keystone Corridor stations.  Just recently crossed Rockville Bridge and are on the west bank of the Susquehanna River.

We had a decent trip on the Pennsylvanian,  going around the Horseshoe Curve and through the Gallitzin Tunnels.  The train was on time out of New York, only 1 minute late out of Philadelphia.  Down the line we continued to lose time, being as much as 19 minutes late by the time we got to Greensburg.  However through the magic of schedule padding, we came into Pittsburgh at 7:54 PM, 11 minutes early!  Nice trip, which began in horrible weather with heavy rain and lightning, and ended with sunny very comfortable weather.
