Train vs. 'Trespasser' Paralyzes NJ Transit Service on 2 Lines, Stranding Commuters
A train struck a "trespasser" near Newark Broad Street early Friday, shutting down most New Jersey Transit service on the Morris & Essex and Montclair Boonton lines for an hour and leaving thousands of people at a loss for how to get to the city as the peak morning commute got underway.
Story here. I am unsure why they put "trespasser" in quotation marks, because that is a totally accurate description of an unauthorized person on the tracks.
