Service changes to expect on Monday, February 1

Avoid traveling if you can. If you must travel:

  • Check the service status of your line or route on our homepage or using the MYmta app before you go.

  • We may need to make service adjustments because of the weather. That means train arrival data and TripPlanner info may not be accurate.

  • Use handrails (and hand sanitizer) in stations and trains.

  • Listen for station announcements and check digital signs in stations for updates.

Subways

Express service may be affected on Monday, February 1. (To prevent  trains from being blocked in yards, they may be stored underground on the express tracks.) Above-ground service may be reduced or suspended if snowfall is heavy.

Long Island Rail Road

Trains are running on a weekend schedule, which remains in effect through Tuesday, February 2. We may suspend LIRR service if snow accumulation reaches 10-13 inches. See the latest schedules here.
