180 Blue Line passengers evacuated amid MBTA train power issue

 

Shuttle buses replacing most service on the Blue Line Friday evening due to an issue with the overhead catenary power lines.

 

The incident involved a Blue Line train headed Northbound toward the Wonderland terminal in Revere.

Shuttle buses are replacing the MBTA's Blue Line service between Suffolk Downs and Bowdoin due to an issue with the overhead wiring system near Orient Heights, the agency said Friday evening.
