Weekend Subway Service Advisory

Customers may visit our website at www.mta.info and check out “The Weekender,” accessible by clicking “The Weekender” tab located within the Service Status Menu. The Weekender makes it easy for subway riders to visualize exactly how weekend work will affect subway service.
The updated “Weekender for Mobile App,” which now includes MTA Subway Time data, is available for iPhone in the Apple app store, and I n the Google Play store for Android devices. This free-to-download app shares the same features as the desktop version, including a subway diagram that displays the service to be provided each weekend, and all service changes. Users can pinch or expand the map to multiple zoom levels, and tap to choose one of three ways to view service diversions: Service by Line, Service by Borough and Service by Station.
Customers can also download the apps at http://mta.info/apps/weekenderApp.html. TripPlanner+ provides travel information that takes weekend service diversions into account. In addition, customers can receive customized subway diversion e-mails delivered to their inbox by signing up for the E-mail Subscription Program. Just log on to the NYC Transit homepage at http://www.mta.info/nyct.
These weekend changes are necessary because of capital construction work on the MTA New York City Transit subway system. This work is part of NYC Transit’s ongoing Capital Rebuilding Program aimed at upgrading and maintaining our tracks, stations and signal systems in order to continue to provide our customers with safe and reliable service. • For Service To/From Van Siclen Av, use shuttle buses to/from the Pennsylvania Av station at all times.
• Free transfer is available with MetroCard.

From 6:00 a.m. Saturday, May 23 to 11:30 p.m. Monday, May 25, 5 Line trains are suspended in both directions between E 180 St and Bowling Green. Take the 2 Line and/or 4 Line instead. 5 Line shuttle trains operate all weekend between Eastchester-Dyre Av and E 180 St. 6 Line service is extended to Bowling Green.

At all times until September 2015, Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall bound 6 Line trains skip 103 St.

From 11:45 p.m. Friday, May 22 to 11:59 p.m. Saturday, May 23, 7 Line trains are suspended in both directions between Flushing-Main St and Mets-Willets Point. Shuttle buses operate between Flushing-Main St and Mets-Willets Point. Transfer between trains and shuttle buses at Mets-Willets Point.
A Line
At all times until Summer 2015, Far Rockaway/Ozone Park-Lefferts Blvd bound, A Line trains skip Rockaway Blvd.
• For Service To this station take the Far Rockaway-bound A Line to Aqueduct-North Conduit Av or the Lefferts Blvd-bound A to 104 St and transfer to a Brooklyn-bound A Line.
• For Service From this station take a Brooklyn-bound A Line to 88 St and transfer to a Far Rockaway or Lefferts Blvd-bound A Line.
