2 Different Trains Hit Same Car On Tracks
A man was taken to the hospital after being struck by a train in Walton, Ky. His car was not so lucky.
The incident happened on the tracks that cross Maher Road near the Dixie Highway intersection. According to the Boone County Sheriff, Timothy McCullough, 27 of Hebron, Kentucky was operating a 2015 Jeep SUV westbound on Maher Road approaching the railroad crossing where a train was passing when he braked but slid on the icy roadway and into the side of the moving northbound Norfolk Southern train.
