Cuts in the number of commuter trains running into London have been announced as rail chiefs continue to reduce services due to Omicron and the number of people working from home.

Free bacon butties on offer as rail companies try to get commuters back on trains
The Rail Delivery Group is creating a scheme which offers breakfasts, coffees, audio books and other rewards for people who are getting trains to work. It comes as rail companies look to recover from home working and the pandemic.

Half of Stockholm trains cancelled on Saturday due to staff illness
The Swedish Transport Administration said that the decision would affect railway traffic in the capital between Saturday 2pm and Sunday 4am.
