OIA-to-Miami All Aboard Florida train system gets more opposition

Opposition continued to grow Tuesday against the train system that would link Orlando International Airport to South Florida.

A State Senator seeking Florida Attorney General opinion as to whether agreement is fair.

All that I can say is, I told you so. This is really not an opposition to AAF as much as an opposition to a patently unfair deal that the Expressway Authority struck with AAF. This is the biggest beef that Brevard has, even more so than just the grade crossing issues. It is this business about only expenses but no benefits that is written in that agreement. I had encouraged the Brevard folks to raise this issue and get it fixed, when I talked to some out there. Looks like they are doing something about it. I think the Expressway Authority is wrong and that agreement should be rewritten without those restrictions.
