Red Line Construction Activity Notices
Construction activity is scheduled Friday, March 31 through Thursday, April 6, 2006

Upon completion of the Dan Ryan Red Line Rehabilitation Project in late 2006, Red Line customers will experience more reliable, efficient service and improved, modernized stations.

Thank you for your patience as we improve this line.

Weekend Construction Activity

Work will be performed northbound between the Garfield and Sox-35th stations.

8:00 p.m., Friday, March 31 until
8:00 a.m., Saturday, April 1, 2006

8:00 p.m., Saturday, April 1 until
Noon, Sunday, April 2, 2006

Service delays may occur. Please allow extra travel time.

Work will be performed from 11:00 p.m. until 4:00 a.m. on the northbound and southbound tracks between the Garfield and 47th stations as follows. Service delays may occur. Please allow extra travel time.

Sox-35th (Red Line) Station

Mezzanine-to-Platform Elevator Temporarily Out of Service
Effective 9:00 a.m., Monday, January 9, 2006 through Spring 2006

As we continue renovation work on the Dan Ryan branch of the Red Line, the elevator at the Sox-35th (Red Line) station will be out of service.

Customers who need elevator access should see the station’s customer assistant or call CTA Customer Service: 1-888-YOUR-CTA (1-888-968-7282); Hearing and Speech Impaired 1-888-CTA-TTY-1 (1-888-282-8891) for alternate routing.
