While I'd reserve final judgement until a place is picked, I know that my mom & I would prefer something other than the Golden Corral. We'd do the GC if indeed that's where everyone is going, but we'd certainly prefer and consider something else if we're not flying solo. And getting to bed a little later doesn't scare us. Even with an early call for the train, it's highly unlikely that either of us would be asleep before the 11 PM news is over.

I have eaten at McCormick & Schmick's in Philadelphia and found it most acceptable. I have not eaten at Golden Corral, but from some of the comments, is a different style of restaurant from the one's Bill mentioned earlier. I prefer the M&S style restaurant. Perhaps we could have a choice. Kevin could arrange for the Golden Corral folks and Bill could arrange for the other group. We will meet again at 7:00am in the morning.
