Philadelphia Mayor Nutter just announced that ALL SEPTA service will cease as of 12 midnight Saturday night, and resume sometime late Sunday as SEPTA deems it's safe to bring services back. He also said that severe flooding is expected, particularly in low lying areas and along the Schuylkill River, so some services may be out a lot longer.

SEPTA has not announced when regional rail will resume. It will be a while for some lines. WPVI (6abc) showed that the Manayunk/Norristown line in Conshohocken has become a raging river, although the water is beginning to recede. Tracks in Trenton shared with Amtrak were submerged when news crews stopped by today.

Trenton video is available online:

Edit to add someone posted a Conshohocken picture on Twitter:

Even if Trenton starts to recede, the Delaware River may not crest there for a few days since it originates way up in New York State. That may have an adverse effect on Amtrak, SEPTA, and NJT for quite a while.

WPVI Philadelphia posted more video from Conshohocken and Trenton.

http://abclocal.go.com/wpvi/video

Trenton station flooding is due to the Assunpink Creek that flows into the Delaware.

Adding links to the water level charts they had on TV..
