RTA suspends streetcar service in advance of Hurricane Ida
On Friday night, the New Orleans Regional Transit Authority announced the suspension of streetcar service beginning Saturday, August 28 at 3 a.m. in advance of Hurricane Ida.

HURRICANE IDA UPDATESTODAY10:30 AMHURRICANE IDARTA Service Update
New Orleans Regional Transit Authority have restored of all bus routes to a modified Saturday schedule beginning Monday, September 6. Buses will also run on the Canal and St. Charles streetcar lines, on the modified schedule. Service will run daily from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.

RTA announces more streetcar routes will resume over the weekend
Streetcar services in some parts of New Orleans will be restored Friday morning with more to follow this weekend.
