The Metropolitan City of Catania, gathered through the mayors of the municipalities involved and the heads of the Superintendent and the Metropolitan City, unanimously approved the project of light rail monorail that will connect, on two lines, the towns of Pedara, Mascalucia, San Gregorio Catania Gravina di Catania, Tremestieri Etneo and San Giovanni La Punta to the town of Etna.
