R train gets stuck underground for nearly an hour after 'minor derailment'
On one of the coldest nights of the year, a train stalled underground in between stations in Manhattan for nearly an hour Saturday night, witnesses said.
A southbound R train got stuck between the 14th St. and 23rd St. stations at 11:14 p.m., witnesses said. The MTA acknowledged there was FDNY activity at the 14th St. station via social media.
