Virgin officials roamed Florida this week to talk with contractors and officials of the Florida High-Speed Rail Authority, which plans a $2.6 billion bullet-train system between Orlando and Tampa by 2009.

The full story is here.ORLANDO -- The British conglomerate Virgin wants to run Florida's proposed bullet train network. Virgin, which operates railroads in the United Kingdom, an airline, a travel company and various entertainment companies, announced Friday it has agreed to drive the trains planned between Tampa and Orlando and eventually Miami.
