Modified NEC and Southeast Service for Thursday, January 6 - Friday, January 7

Following the recent winter storm and in preparation for additional inclement weather, Amtrak has made the following temporary service adjustments for Thursday, January 6 and Friday, January 7:
- Modified Northeast Regional service between Norfolk, Va., Roanoke, Va., Newport News, Va., Washington, D.C., New York and Boston
- Silver Service train 97 and Cardinal trains 50 and 51
Customers with reservations on trains that are being modified will typically be accommodated on trains with similar departure times or another day. Amtrak will waive additional charges for customers looking to change their reservation during the modified schedule by calling our reservation center at 1-800-USA-RAIL.
