    ‘Could be a couple days’: No TTC subway service for part of Line 2 after fire

The TTC says there is no subway service on Line 2 between Kipling Station and Jane Station after a track level fire and it “could be a couple days” before service fully resumes.

    TTC says part of Line 2 to remain closed for weekend after track fire, planned Line 1 closures cancelled    

 

 

The westernmost section of Line 2, between Jane and Kipling stations, remains closed for the second day after a track-level fire near Islington station shut down operations on Thursday. A planned closure of a section of Line 1 for Saturday has also been cancelled due to the emergency repair work required on Line 2.
