I am not sure what happened to the Silvers last night/this morning, but both 92 and 97 were significantly delayed and connections would have been missed today. 92 left Carey today (7/2) at 1:32, over 5 hours late. The connection to 75 in Carey would have been missed (75 left Carey at 12:04pm). This is the first time in over 3 months that the connection would have been missed. 97 is running over 2 hours late and has not yet reached (or is just getting to) WPK. 98 was running about an hour late but has already left WPK.

97 departed nyp 3 hours late last night and still is running late. Would still give us time in Jacksonville.

Yeah I certainly wouldn't have an issue in being several hours late given a 13+ hour layover. But those who are turning around further south and had planned on doing something during that time, or even a leisurely lunch, would have to be more concerned.

Bill, I'm assuming that the days in May and June that #75 left Cary but never made it to Charlotte were due to trackwork/planned bustitution from Kannapolis. The record for this train is pretty decent, which is fine since without decent food service one wants to get where they're going as soon as possible!
