MTA Police Department Issues Description of Suspect Wanted for 'Forcible Touching” Incident at Metro-North's Purdy's Station
 
Asks Citizens for Help Apprehending Suspect

 

 

The MTA Police Department has issued a descriptive flier of the man wanted for a forcible touching incident that occurred on Sunday, August 21, 2016, at about 8 a.m. at the northeast corner of the parking lot at Metro-North’s Purdy’s station.

 

The suspect is described as a male Hispanic, approximately 25-30 years old, 5’8”- 5’11”, 180 pounds, with a muscular build and dark complexion. The suspect, who speaks fluent English, was wearing a burnt orange Texas Longhorns hat, reddish t-shirt, light colored ¾ length shorts. He dropped his Texas Longhorns hat on the dirt path at the station when fleeing the scene.

 

Police ask that if anyone recognizes the suspect pictured in the wanted flier, or knows anyone who wore the hat pictured in the flier, to please contact Detective Ken Stewart of the MTA PD District #7 Detectives at (845) 905-3508 or the on-call Detective Supervisor via MTA Police Communications at (718) 361-2201.
