Man named Dwight Yokum arrested for allegedly halting, boarding train
A man named Dwight Yokum was arrested by Douglas County sheriff’s deputies early Tuesday morning after allegedly halting a train in Myrtle Creek owned by Oregon & Pacific Railroad and getting on board.
Yokum, 23, of Myrtle Creek — not to be mistaken for Dwight Yoakam, the country singer — was believed to have been under the influence at the time of his arrest and had multiple large knives concealed under his jacket, deputies said.
