Track Work and Signal Upgrades Near Toledo, OH

To ensure Norfolk Southern maintains high standards of safety and service across our network, we will be performing track work and upgrading our signal systems near Toledo, OH on Monday, March 9^th. 

 

As a result of this work, Intermodal traffic originating from or destined to Chicago 63rd, Chicago 47^th, Mechanicville, Harrisburg, Rutherford, Croxton, Kansas City, or Baltimore will be impacted during this 12-hour track outage. 

 

To minimize the impact from the outage, the following trains are planned to depart an hour early:

• 24Z-08 (Chicago 63^rd to Cleveland Maple Heights/Pittsburgh/Harrisburg/Croxton)
• 22K-09 (Chicago 47^th to Mechanicville)
• 206-09 (Chicago 47^th to Buffalo/Mechanicville)

The trains listed below are expected to incur a 3-hour delayed availability:

• 20E-09 (Chicago 63^rd to Rutherford/Croxton)
• 24M-09 (Chicago 63^rd to Pittsburgh/Baltimore)

The trains listed below are expected to incur at least a 6-hour delayed availability:

• 205-08 (Mechanicville to Chicago 47^th)
• 21T-08 (Harrisburg to St. Louis/Kansas City)

The train listed below is expected to incur an 11-hour delayed availability:

• 21Z-08 (Rutherford to Chicago 63^rd)

The train listed below is expected to incur an 8-hour delayed availability:

• 25W-08 (Croxton to Chicago 63^rd)
