Winter Weather Update - January 2-3, 2014
What to expect when winter weather hits.
A winter storm is forecasted for parts of the MBTA’s service area on Thursday, January 2, and continuing into Friday, January 3, with extremely cold temperatures following the storm. The MBTA encourages its customers to be cautious, careful, and safe during the winter storm as some surfaces may be slippery due to ice and snow.

Subway
The Mattapan Line will operate with alternate bus shuttles beginning at approximately 6 p.m. on January 2, 2014, until further notice.
The Red, Blue, Orange, and Green Lines may operate with some delays resulting in less frequent service.
