PennDOT is holding three open houses for the public to review the Draft 2015 Pennsylvania State Rail Plan. The plan identifies the state's vision and objectives for PA passenger and freight rail needs for the next 25 years. The dates and cities are September 15 - Pittsburgh, September 16 - State College, and September 17 - Philadelphia. The time for all of the sessions is 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm.  Below are links to 1) a story about the open houses that includes the specific locations and 2) the plan itself.  Hopefully you will be able to attend one of the open houses to review the plan and offer your comments, particularly on passenger services.  If you are not able to attend, you can still submit comments to PennDOT via the plan website by October 2.
