Buses to Provide Green Line Service During Construction, Effective Sunday, September 11, 2016
Overpass construction near Trinity Mills and Interstate 35E resumes on Sunday, September 11, causing bus substitution on the Green Line north of Farmers Branch for that day only.
Trains will operate on regular weekend schedule as far north as Farmers Branch Station. Buses will meet each arriving train, then continue north to Downtown Carrollton, Trinity Mills and North Carrollton/Frankford stations. Passengers using these stations are strongly encouraged to allow extra time for travel, as connecting bus service will remain on normal schedules.
Southbound trains will depart Farmers Branch at their usual times. Customers are reminded that the special buses load and unload at the red "Rail Disruption" bus stops located at each station.
