VRE Train Talk Alert, 3/30:
 

New Cars in Service on the Fredericksburg Line

 

We are pleased to announce that the new coaches (cars) we recently received are now in service, replacing some of the Legacy coaches on the Fredericksburg Line,

 

As of today, new coaches make up the whole consist for Northbound Fredericksurg Train #310 (Departs Spotsylvania at 6.23am) and Southbound Fredericksburg Train #303 (Departs Union Station at 3:10pm). Please click here to view a list of the new daily planned lineup of all trains.

 

More are on order, and will be introduced in the coming years, as the lead time for new coaches is twenty-four months, and only one of the improvements in the years to come.

VRE Train Talk Alert 6/15/17:
 

New Cars in Service on the Fredericksburg Line

 

We are pleased to announce that the new coaches (cars) we recently received will be in service, replacing the Legacy coaches on the Fredericksburg Line.

 

Tomorrow, we plan to operate the last Legacy car for Northbound Fredericksburg Train #314 (Departs Spotsylvania a 7:36a) and Southbound Fredericksburg Train #301 (Departs Union Station at 12:55p).  Please click here to view a list of the daily planned lineup of all trains.
