Commuter Rail delays reported after tractor-trailer hit by train in Littleton, Mass.

 

Surveillance camera video shows train slam into trailer

 

 

LITTLETON, Mass. — Delays were reported for several MBTA Commuter Rail trains on Monday afternoon after a tractor-trailer was struck by a train in Littleton.

 

Police said the collision occurred at approximately noon. No injuries were reported.

      Commuter Rail collides with truck and barely misses pedestrian in Massachusetts  

 

 

An unusual accident occurred on March 18 in Littleton Massachusetts when a Commuter Rail train collided with a truck. The train which was heading for Boston made contact with the vehicle and had a near miss with a pedestrian.

New video shows the dramatic moment a commuter rail train struck a tractor-trailer on Monday afternoon.

 

According to the Littleton Police Department, the train rammed the back end of the tractor-trailer at a low speed at a railroad crossing on King Street around noon.
