While looking at a new Amtrak timetable, Ted said, "Our friends and relations live all over the country -- and most of them are near Amtrak stops. Let's visit them."

Thus began our plans for a five-week sentimental rail journey with stops in California, Arizona, Louisiana, South Carolina, and Pennsylvania.

W951BER ,

Thanks for reporting this and several other broken links in our Trip Reports section. We appreciate that you wish to read about other folks travel experiences. Unfortunately, "third party" sources we often link to (and we have the same issue with news items) tend to either be moved or more likely deleted as those newspapers, television & radio stations, and even other online websites take those features down or archive them elsewhere. It would be tough for us with our 13 year history to go back and check all our hyperlinks. Odds are, the older they are, the less likely they will still work. Apologies for the broken links, and this can be a lesson to all to enjoy our features relatively soon after they are posted so that our sources are still fresh!
