Teaneck wants cameras installed along railroad tracks, to monitor activity
TEANECK — Township officials are considering installing cameras on bridges overlooking the railroads that cut through town and in a tunnel that crosses underneath, to monitor activity along the tracks.
The cameras are needed because of the accessibility of the tracks to the public and the volatile crude oil and other dangerous materials that the trains sometimes carry, officials said.
