It took until around midnight for Amtrak to put anything up on their website.  Long beaten to the punch by SEPTA & NJT.

As of 2 AM,  every Amtrak train between Boston and Washington is marked as "SOLD OUT" all day Wednesday --- as are those between Philadelphia and Harrisburg. Looks at this time like they entirely gave up on operating anything though New York City except what runs on the Empire Corridor. Could they have grounded the fleet even where this incident is not blocking the route until the cause is determined?

NBC Washington, 5/13/15:

Another Deadly Train Derailment Happened at Frankford Junction 71-Years Ago

Frankford Junction, the scene of Tuesday night’s deadly derailment of Amtrak Regional 188, has seen devastation before.

On Labor Day, 71 years ago the Congressional Limited careened off the tracks with 541 passengers on-board including many service members on leave. Seventy-nine passengers were killed and 117 were injured in one of the worst rail disasters of its day.

This is the story.
