- CalTrain: Times were adjusted slightly (by no more than 3 minutes) for Train #261 on Tuesday 7/17 and Baby Bullet Train #324 on Thursday 7/19, due to upcoming schedule change effective April 2, 2007.
- Slight change of modes in San Jose area on 7/19: Deleted trip from Mountain View to San Jose Diridon Station. Instead, we will return from Mountain View directly to the station on VTA light rail. One reason for this is that taking CalTrain #154 as previously planned would triplicate our travels on that segment of track since we are already covering it on the aforementioned Trains #261 and #324. The second reason is that VTA light rail trackage in downtown San Jose runs on parallel one-way streets. Had we taken CalTrain we would have missed the southbound portion that runs on 2nd Street (northbound runs on 1st Street). The change still gives us 28 minutes before the departure of ACE Train #06.
The costs page segment for CalTrain has also been updated. Obviously this change results in less cost since instead of a CalTrain fare, we continue using our VTA DayPass.
