MTA Long Island Rail Road wants to get you to beautiful Brooklyn with daily discounts to popular attractions. Whether you’re looking for a day of culture, a retreat with nature or a ride with exhilaration, LIRR has your savings on entertainment for the entire family.

 

Brooklyn Museum and Brooklyn Botanic Garden

With temporary exhibits, such as The Rise of Sneaker Culture and permanent collections that include ancient Egyptian masterpieces and African art, the Brooklyn Museum has visuals that are sure to please everyone. Visitors will experience intelligent, cutting-edge programs that reflect a fresh view of traditional and historical works, as well as engagement with today’s most important artists, artistic practices and ideas.

 

When you visit the Brooklyn Botanic Garden you’ll see that much more than a tree grows there. Home to over 12,000 types of plants, the Garden’s diverse collection celebrates nature’s ever-changing spectacle with a glorious succession of color, texture, and atmosphere throughout the seasons. You’ll walk around inhaling the extra oxygen and forget you’re in New York City.

 

Discount package includes LIRR off-peak round trip rail fare to and from Atlantic Terminal plus admission to the Brooklyn Museum and Brooklyn Botanic Garden. Price for adults, zones 1 -10, is $31 and zones 12 -14 is $42; youth (aged 12 – 19), zones 1-10 is $23 and zones 12 -14 is $34.

 

Seniors 65+ should check current regular admission and rail fare and compare with adult package price.

Brooklyn Museum is located at 200 Eastern Parkway. From Atlantic Terminal, take the Brooklyn bound 2.png3.png train three stops to Eastern Parkway/ Brooklyn Museum.

Luna Park at Coney Island

Enjoy the wonder that is the famous Coney Island boardwalk as you head to Luna Park for a few hours of amusement rides. There are extreme thrill coasters such as the Thunderbolt and the famous Cyclone, but there are lots of milder rides for those who don’t want the heart-pounding excitement. When you’re done you can enjoy a number of carnival games or the many dining and shopping options.

 

Discount package includes LIRR off-peak round trip rail fare to and from Atlantic Terminal plus a voucher redeemable for a four-hour unlimited ride wristband. Price for adults, zones 1 -10, is $41 and zones 12 -14 is $52; children (aged 5 – 11 is $26.

Luna Park is located at 1000 Surf Avenue. From Atlantic Terminal, take the take the d.pngn.png or q.png trains. All terminate at Stillwell Avenue/Coney Island, about 100 yards from front gate.
