I may be only one of two people remaining in New York. I am in the Club Acela waiting for the silver meteor to take me back to Florida before the next Arctic blast arrives. Thanks Kevin, for planning the fest between the "blasts.". I enjoyed myself, meeting new people, new mileage and new trains. I also enjoyed seeing my "old" friends. The snow flurries were a nice touch. :) If things so as scheduled, I will be home by this time tomorrow.

I'm home, after a nice morning points run up to Croton-Harmon and back. Regional #157 from New York to Metropark was not crowded at all. I didn't feel like walking up to the Quiet Car with my three parcels, so I just boarded the rear-most car. I needn't have worried, since there weren't too many people in that car to turn it into a phone booth. Many empty seats, meaning I got a two-fer to myself. And reality hit me today that I happened to start and end my weekend at Metropark on the Norfolk-bound trains -- 125 on Friday and 157 today.

I am in New Jersey at a hotel. Thanks to Kevin for an outstanding job of planning and guiding us through the Fest. It was interesting and enjoyable. I wish I was on the Meteor like Penny and could avoid the 10 inches of snow that is forecast for tomorrow.

After dinner I was able to make a 6:22 LIRR train to Jamaica and made the connection to the Airtrain. Caught my Delta flight to DEN where I'm sitting now after I did a quick Billings turn this morning. Got a much needed nap in. Tomorrow I go DEN-SGU-DEN-TUL-IAH and catch my commute home to MSY. I can't get home soon enough!

WOW, Chris. I am getting tired just reading what you have done and will be doing. I am happy you made your connections. It was great to see you. Hope to see you in July.
