Sound Transit e-mail:

The downtown transit tunnel will be closed to buses and Link light rail May 30-31 and June 6-7.

Regular Link service will still run between Stadium Station and the airport.

A free shuttle bus (Route 97) will run between Stadium Station and the downtown stops. Click here for a Route 97 map.

ST Express route 550 will use it's surface street routing and stops.

We thank you for your patience.

Also, looks like they will be running three car trains on Sunday, to accommodate simultaneous Sounders FC and Mariners games.

I took this video of one of the benefits of the tunnel shut down. Three car trains, and should be seeing more of them once U-LINK opens. I at first thought the platforms were not long enough, but I guess I have bad depth perception.
