Service Disruption Near Shippensburg, PA

At approximately 05:00 this morning, we received reports of multiple washouts between Hagerstown, MD and Harrisburg, PA spanning over a ten mile area. The affected area is roughly 24 miles north of Hagerstown, near Shippensburg, PA.
The washout will affect intermodal traffic moving between the southeast and northeast, specifically the following trains:
- 212-26 (Atlanta to Croxton)
- 214-25 (Atlanta to Rutherford/Morrisville)
- 202-25 (Rossville to Harrisburg/Morrisville/Erail)
Preliminary estimates indicate repairs will be complete around 12:00 noon today. Customers should expect availability delays of 8-12 hours for traffic on the above trains.
