Metra Electric train fatally strikes pedestrian on South Side
Metra Electric District trains are moving again after a man was struck and killed near 95th Street Monday afternoon, according to Metra.
The pedestrian was fatally struck about 5:35 p.m. by train 705, which was scheduled to arrive in University Park at 5:55 p.m., according to Metra spokesman Michael Gillis.
