What I get from the above is that it will be offered on the Boston section between Boston and Albany, and the main train between Albany and Chicago, but at least for starters not the New York-Albany portion.   However if the train is still operating as a stub then there would be a business class car on the stub train east of Albany, and one on the main train west of Albany.  Which means..... why can't that car run through to New York on that section?

Kevin , the stub train situation is ending. I can now book 449 all the way to CHI after Oct 26. The BC car( half cafe) is starting from BOS. The NY passengers for BC will have to transfer at ALB. I guess Amtrak doesn't want two BC cars on the LSL . edited spelling

Thanks, Rick. There might be a way to run a Business Class car on the NY section and add/remove it with the electric engine, but passengers would have to switch making it unpopular.
