Weekend service adjustments October 20-22 for scheduled maintenance

Maintenance work over the weekend of October 20-22 to keep trains operating safely and reliably.
Highlights
- Orange, Silver, Blue, Yellow and Green line trains operate regular weekend service
- Red Line trains operate every 8-15 minutes
Metro to open at 6:00 a.m. Sunday, October 22 for the Marine Corps Marathon
Red Line
Trains every 15 minutes | 7:00AM Saturday through closing Sunday
Red Line trains will operate every 15 minutes between Shady Grove and Glenmont with additional trains between Farragut North and Silver Spring 9:00AM - 9:00PM
Single tracking between Medical Center & Grosvenor to allow for the expanded leak mitigation pilot.
Orange Line
Regular weekend service
Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 p.m. until close, single tracking between Foggy Bottom and Clarendon to allow for radio cable installation.
Silver Line
Regular weekend service
Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 p.m. until close, Silver Line trains will operate between Wiehle-Reston East and Ballston only. Customers traveling to/from other stations should use Orange and/or Blue line trains to complete their trip. At Ballston, transfer between Silver and Orange line trains on the same platform.
Blue Line
Regular weekend service
Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 10:00 p.m. until close, single tracking between Foggy Bottom and Arlington Cemetery to allow for radio cable installation.
Yellow Line
Regular weekend service
Green Line
Regular weekend service
