Amtrak Modifies Empire Service Schedule

Due to the winter storm in the Northeast, Amtrak is modifying the Empire Service schedule for Monday, Feb. 9. Empire Service trains 230 and 234 (Albany-Rensselaer to New York), train 235 (New York to Albany-Rensselaer) and train 281 (New York to Niagara Falls, NY) are canceled on Monday, Feb. 9. Additionally, Empire Service train 280 (Niagara Falls, NY to New York) is canceled on Tuesday, Feb. 10. Passengers with reservations on these trains will be notified and accommodated on other scheduled service.
Northeast Regional and Acela Express service, operating between Washington and Boston, will operate as scheduled.
Passengers are encouraged to confirm train status before traveling to the station. Amtrak is monitoring the weather situation and will modify service as appropriate.
