Modified Service Due to Winter Storm Landon

Monday, January 31, 2022 3:00pm ET

 

Due to the forecasted winter storm and for the safety of our customers and employees, Amtrak has made the following temporary service adjustments between Wednesday, February 2 – Thursday, February 3:

Wednesday, February 2

  • City of New Orleans trains 59 & 58 (operating between Chicago and New Orleans) are cancelled.
  • Cardinal train 51 (operating between New York and Chicago) is cancelled
  • Capitol Limited train 29 (operating between Washington, D.C. and Chicago) is cancelled
  • Illini/Saluki Carbondale train 393 (operating between Chicago and Carbondale, Ill.) is cancelled
  • Lincoln Service trains 305 & 307 (operating between Chicago and St. Louis) are cancelled
  • Missouri River Runner train 313 (operating between St. Louis, Mo. and Kansas City, Mo.) is cancelled

Thursday, February 3

  • Cardinal train 50 (operating between New York and Chicago) is cancelled
  • Capitol Limited train 30 (operating between Washington, D.C. and Chicago) is cancelled
  • Illini/Saluki Carbondale train 390 (operating between Chicago and Carbondale, Ill.)) is cancelled
  • Lincoln Service trains 300 & 302 (operating between Chicago and St. Louis) are cancelled
  • Missouri River Runner train 314 (operating between St. Louis, Mo. and Kansas City, Mo.) is cancelled
  • Blue Water trains 365 & 364 (operating between Chicago and Port Huron, Mich.) are cancelled
  • Wolverine Service trains 352 & 354 and 353 & 355 (operating between Chicago and Pontiac, Mich.) are cancelled
     

Customers with reservations on trains that are being modified will typically be accommodated on trains with similar departure times or another day. Amtrak will waive additional charges for customers looking to change their reservation during the modified schedule by calling our reservation center at 1-800-USA-RAIL.

Due to impacts from the winter storm and for the safety of our customers and employees, Amtrak has made the following temporary service adjustments between Wednesday, February 2 – Thursday, February 3:

On Wednesday, February 2, the following service is cancelled:

  • City of New Orleans trains 59 & 58 (operating between Chicago and New Orleans)
  • Cardinal train 51 (operating between New York and Chicago)
  • Capitol Limited train 29 (operating between Washington, D.C. and Chicago)
  • Heartland Flyer train 822 (operating between Oklahoma City, Okla. and Ft. Worth, Tx.)
