CSX Signal Problem Near L'Enfant

Due to a signal problem north of L'Enfant, Fredericksburg Line train #301 and Manassas Line train #325 are currently being held and have not entered the L'Enfant station.

Train #301 delayed 30 minutes
Train #325 delayed 20 minutes

We will provide additional updates as more information becomes available.

Update - Signal Problem

Fredericksburg Line train #301 is now on the move.

Manassas Line train #325 is still at Union Station.

Evening Consist Changes on the Fredericksburg Line

Due to earlier signal problems, we will be making several consist changes on the Fredericksburg Line.

-Train #305, scheduled to depart Union Station at 4:05pm, will operate with 5 Bombardier (Sounder) cars
-Train #307, scheduled to depart Union Station at 4:45pm, will operate with 6 Kawasaki cars
-Train #309, scheduled to depart Union Station at 5:15pm, will operate with 6 Kawasaki cars and 2 single-level Mafersa cars.

As a result of these changes crowding is expected to train #307.

Elevator Out of Service at Woodbridge

The elevator at the Woodbridge station is currently out of service.  We anticipate that it will be out of service for several hours.

Because the elevator is down, all Woodbridge passengers should use extra caution leaving the parking garage this evening, as there may be people walking to their cars through the garage rather than taking the stairs.

Signal Problems this Evening for All Trains

CSX has again informed us that they are experiencing intermittent signal problems north of L'Enfant.

As a result, all remaining trains may experience slight delays this evening.
