Day 2 of Washington Fest over Options

And we've come to the conclusion of another successful railfest. Eleven of the total twelve participants were there at least part of today as we conquered the Metro system. Those who were along last night did the western leg of the Red Line. Those who went wire to wire today did everything else.

We had lunch in L'Enfant Plaza, despite the lack of open restaurants. For dinner, the nine of us split into groups of 5 and 4. Five went to Golden Corral for their buffet, while the other four went to a nearby Bugaboo Creek Steak House.

Our members began dispersing when Piotr left us at New Carrollton to catch his Regional train back to Metropark. The rest of us returned to our various hotels. Most of us return home tomorrow.
