This derailment has caused problems with Amtrak's San Joaquins service through Fresno, CA.
From KFSN-TV, ABC-30 in Fresno, CA, 6/19/07: QUOTE Amtrak Passengers Being Bussed Around Derailment This derailed train is stuck on the same tracks that Amtrak uses, and that meant delays for passengers. At the Amtrak station in Downtown Fresno, northbound passengers waited for a couple of hours before charter buses came to take them to Merced.
