Newark City Subway Boarding Change - Norfolk St. through Branch Brook Park Stations

On Saturday, November 8, beginning at 8 p.m. and continuing until the end of the service day on Sunday, November 9, NJ TRANSIT will perform track work on the Newark City Subway between Norfolk Street and Branch Brook Park stations. During this time, the outbound track will be out of service at Norfolk St., Orange St., Park Ave., Bloomfield Ave., Davenport Ave., and Branch Brook Park stations.


Customer Impacts


Customers boarding at Norfolk St., Orange St., Park Ave., Bloomfield Ave., Davenport Ave., and Branch Brook Park stations during this time must board on the inbound (To Newark Penn Station) side of the platform for both inbound and outbound service.

Service will operate on a regular weekend schedule, except on Saturday, November 8 from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. when service will operate on a 20-minute frequency.
