Here's another example of a reporter bandying about light rail and commuter rail terms without understanding the meaning of each.

I guess the reporter never heard about the FRA rules that prevent the Light Rail and Freight Trains from sharing the same track without time separation. The ARR is a Full Service Railroad, the only one we got. About the best DMU that would work on the ARR is either the Budd RDC(which they use on the Hurricane Turn), and the Colorado Railcar DMU. Plus, are any of the ARR's Passenger Coaches able to do double duty as commuter coaches, at least to start? I like how the locomotive fleet does double duty, the SD70MACs with HEP Inverters, and some of the older locomotives have limited HEP ability to keep freight from freezing.
